Around another corner, another busker sings in Exeter. It was very melodic walking in the city, as one singer faded another’s vocals would come into range as we moved. I decided to post process this photo as Black and White, the colour version just didn’t feel right.
When I went to Exeter on Saturday we all met up at Exeter Quay. While everyone was getting acquainted I looked behind me and saw all the ingredients for a photo, the lamppost, a cobbled street and a photographic building. The worst part was trying to wait for a clearing of pedestrians. I like the woman on the right sitting reading her book, it adds to the illusion of calm that in reality was quite a bustling location.
I went to Exeter today for a photo walk with some other Flickr members. I took this photo as we all walked through the crowds, having a briefest of moments as the people walking around us cleared to shoot the image. The woman’s striking hair grabbed my attention at first, but then I noticed that it looked like the man was teaching the woman how to play. As quick as it appeared the moment passed and the crowds obstructed the people once more. I didn’t get many good photos today but it was great fun meeting other local photographers.
