A Devon countryside view from Dartmoor
When I am out taking photographs I often find myself admiring the view, but focusing my camera on closer objects to build a photo. On this day the view from Great Staple Tor on Dartmoor National Park was stunning. With the rain having just stopped, there was a burst of amazing light across the Devon landscape. With my 70-200 lens I set about trying to capture some of the distant views. The cloud was still quite low, so I was able to capture some of those in the scene too, which I think adds a nice element to the image. It really is worth getting out with your camera in all weather; there are often loads of photographic opportunities out there that we miss. Of course, that is easier said than done!
