A Dartmoor Winter Landscape
I thought I would go for a slight change of direction for today’s panoramic photo of Dartmoor although Great Staple Tor is still in it! I took this photo from the Merrivale stone rows looking north. It wasn’t a shot I spent a lot of time taking if I am honest. I just liked the contrast of the snow speckled tors against the winter sky. The cloud right above Great Staple Tor is just a bonus. The tor towards the centre of the image is Roos Tor.
Taking this photo I realised just how much I need to expand my lens collection. I originally sold most of my lenses to make the switch to full frame but circumstance slowed down the re-acquisition of new ones. Hopefully once I open my shop I will be able to fund more glass as well as the new Canon 5DS which should be fantastic for landscape photographers like me.
